Barbara Hepworth

Browse our collection of Barbara Hepworth prints and lithographs. She is considered as one of the most important British artists of the 20th Century. She is mainly recognised for her modernist sculpture, and her pioneering method of carving wood and stone. Her early sculptures are considered as the first completely abstract sculptures anywhere in the world.

Both Hepworth and her husband Ben Nicholson became key figures in the Modern Art movement and the artist colony in St Ives, Cornwall.

Hepworth also created many graphic works on paper during 1969 and 1971. These include the lithographs and etchings we have available for sale.
